yet, I dont know about you - but I live my life with a lot of clutter around me - actual "things" collected - and un-disposed-of ...
do you think theres a connection? or are we talking about something else entirely, that has no relation to clutter ...
after all, some say a mans surroundings are a reflection of his mind, his inner state ... if my mind was truly this "cluttered" - well then, am I fooling myself about my understanding of the Flow?
I dont believe I am - but I would like to hear others takes on their life and their possessions |

It's surprising how many memories some objects bring back, can't throw those away. lol
I don't believe the Flow has anything to do with surroundings but more being at peace with ones-self and accepting who you are. |

Clutter, on the other hand, is an entirely subjective matter. Do we own stuff or does it own us? We can psychoanalyze the reasons to death. OCD, abandonment issues, fear of losing/going without tangibles, and so forth. Bottom line for the pragmatic: is "clutter x, y, or z" an asset or liability? Can someone else benefit from it? If so, pass it on. [Freecycle.org] It is possible to guide some aspects of the flow, at least clutter-wise. ;oD |

i like to see a clutter free home, as it feels more open and free... however, there is one room where everything seems to 'collect'. like that one drawer in the kitchen that keeps everything.
i call it organised clutter. ;)
funny how we can justify almost anything... |

I just cant ... (I should take pictures of some of the things I mean ... that would be a good thing to do ...)
the problem comes in, the energy it takes to find a good home for these things, is more than Ive got - and at times, it does interfere with a variety of flow in my life ... but thats the thing too - its only at times, and in those times, I can see that the "blockage" only exists because Im in an image of what these things are ... and not "with" their reality ... the Flow is always all inclusive and much bigger than anything I possess (as fugitive was pointing too) including an attachment I may have to some-thing ... and here, I think it accurate to say, "attachment" exists for a thing whether Im keeping it OR throwing it away ... if Ive made an image about it, then there is attachment ... |
