Sponsor | | rumisong | Apr 27, 2007 5:37am | no - good point really - the color it was on was called "lighter gray" and I saw it was defaulting with black fonts - it was a bit hard to read - it was ...
I chose it simply so it would go with the Logo I whipped up in Photoshop ... and the Blue color I chose was clashing less with it than any other choice ... I imagine that "Black" (in reality its more "Charcoal" - isnt it?) would be a good choice - but two of my other groups are Black - and so for myself, I wanted a change ... and the choice called "Lightest Gray" is really a light gray stripe on a white background ... so its more "white" than anything else ...
Im trying out Dark Gray for now ... let me know ... Im not too fond of some of the colors - I prefer neutrals ... but if a movement comes together (we should call it an "eddy" instead of a "movement") for a color choice - I will be responsive :)

the Logo is supposed to be a representation of a school of "baitfish" swimming in the ocean - and just about to split off momentarily - until they converge into a single movement of silvery shimmer again ...
It was quick and rough - and Ill probably try again - remembering to allow for more grays in the image ... or there too, Ill be open to suggestions ... Ill probably be opinionated on this though ... any suggestion is cool, but it will have to "hit me" right - in my first take of it, for me to use it, or adapt it ...
I do like the metaphor of where I was going - that the fish were not the water, yet their movements were reflective OF the flow of the ocean - as well relflecting of the light that entered the ocean - as well reflections of each other and the color of the ocean ... an finally reflections of what we might see as Flow ... metaphor all around ...
(something like this, but with more context - and still good balance)
